Southern Party of North Carolina endorses Vernon Logan for Forsyth County Commissioner

Posted by Brad Winthrop --- July 14th, 2007

While Winston Salem Mayor Allen Joines brags about including Hispanic residents, including many who are not even here legally, he seems less enthusiastic about recognizing our own country, State and local history and Heritage of many citizens. . .

Stop illegal immigration through enforcement.

No welfare for illegal aliens.

No free health care for illegal aliens.

No employment for illegal aliens.

No public housing for illegal aliens.

End all other taxpayed-funded benefits to illegal aliens.

Texas Tea Party

Posted by Joey Dauben --- July 13th, 2007

From the Constitution Party of Texas today:

Texas Tea Party

A proven method of growing grassroots chapters is to have get togethers at prospects’ homes. Ask them to host a tea party where their responsibility will be to provide light snacks, coffee, and tea (wouldn’t be a tea party without tea).

This is a non-threatening and informal way to get to know like minded people and plant some seeds that will hopefully result in some joining the party with a commitment to get involved and to set up more tea parties with new hosts.

One or two members would give a presentation and a challenge. The presentation should include:

History of the Constitution Party

Why a third party is needed

Where America is at and why (the failure of the two party system)

Why voting for twittle dee or twittle dumb is throwing your vote away and how we have been duped through fear into staying the wrong course

The time to get involved is now

The challenge should include:

Join the party and commit to no longer throwing your vote away

Be a host or presenter of another tea party

Get informed

Become a chapter leader

Consider running for office

Let’s play the numbers game. You start with one party in your home. You set up the time and day. Your goal is for 10 to attend so you invite 20 to 30. Call them and in your own words say, “Hey Bill, I need your help. Saturday afternoon at 2pm at my house, I am having a tea party. We’re having some friends over to discuss our disappointment in the Republican and Democrat Parties and what we can do about it. I will have a special guest who will be sharing with us how we can stop our downward slide in this country on issues like the Immagration Bill and North American Union. I gave him a number of how many would be in attendance and I need two more. Can I count on you to be there?” Then call to follow up with their commitment the night before.

Let’s say 10 show up as planned (perfect world illustration). The party goes well and at the conclusion you pick up 10 new members for the party and 3 volunteer to host tea parties in their homes for the following week. You also schedule a monthly meeting with these 10 in your home or one of the 10’s home to discuss issues and how they can get involved in the Constitution Party.

Address: 2721 N Hill Terrace, Cleburne, 76031

CP & 9/11 Truth

Posted by Joey Dauben --- July 12th, 2007

First it was the issue of Libertarians involved in 9/11. Tonight’s Libertarian Politics Live! show will feature a Constitution Partyist/Republic of Texas activist with the view that 9/11 “was an inside job,” and his efforts to inform party activists of the issue.

You don’t want to miss it.

Jerome Corsi on Coast to Coast AM tonight

Posted by Cody Quirk --- July 11th, 2007

World Net Daily

WND columnist Jerome Corsi will be a guest tonight on the nationally syndicated radio show Coast to Coast AM with George Noory to discuss his new book The Late Great USA.

Corsi is scheduled to be on the show for three hours, beginning shortly after 2 a.m. Eastern time in most local markets.

In his book, Corsi charges the federal government’s unwillingness to enforce immigration laws and border security is, at least in part, a result of plans to promote political, social and economic integration of the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

Understanding the plan to merge the U.S., Mexico and Canada, says Corsi, is “the only context in which the current immigration travesty makes sense - and it must be stopped.”

Corsi is the co-author of the No. 1 New York Times best-seller Unfit for Command which many credit with having cost John Kerry the presidency in the 2004 election.

The Ron Paul Folks Are Well Organized

Posted by Austin Cassidy --- July 10th, 2007

Over the weekend I attended a town hall meeting in Jacksonville featuring Rudy Giuliani. A recap of the event is posted on the other blog I write for, Jax Daily. It includes some photos and info on what was discussed at the forum.

Afterward, Ron Paul supporters wearing t-shirts greeted everyone leaving the building with business cards and chanted “abolish the IRS.” They had also placed flyers on every single car in the parking lot with more info on Paul’s campaign.

Then… once I’d written my piece for Jax Daily, I got about ten emails from people thanking me for mentioning Ron Paul. They all came in rather quickly, so it was obviously an organized effort to encourage more coverage by thanking every single media source that gives Paul even a brief mention.

Anyway, I was quite impressed by how organized they were. I’m not sure they convinced many people to vote for Paul over Giuliani… but they are definitely working hard to advance their man.

Republicans Voting for Libertarians

Posted by Joey Dauben --- July 10th, 2007

From my blog:

Three sitting Ellis County Republican Party Executive Committee members have indicated to me that they have voted for Libertarian Party candidates as recent as last fall. This really comes as no surprise. A couple of former exec. committee members admitted to voting for Libertarians over Democrats when there were “RINOs on the ballot” (Republicans In Name Only).

This could be good news for Justin Randall, the Ellis County LP’s chairman. His party nationally grabbed an 18% increase in membership since January, as membership for both the Republican and Democratic parties fell.

By the way, Randall is looking for qualified folks to run as Libertarian candidates in the 2008 races in Ellis County. To do so, e-mail him at: [email protected]
