Wayne Root on Rocky Mountain News, Crashes Chat System

On and off Libertarian presidential frontrunner, Wayne Allyn Root, pulled up to the keyboard yesterday for a chat with Rocky Mountain News.

In the middle of the chat, Rocky’s system crashed so the chat was interrupted and no questions were posed by the public. What are the odds? Wayne?

Wayne covered immigration, Iraq and was given the opportunity to set sights on Bob Barr:

Wayne Allyn Root: Bob is a fine man. He’d make a good candidate for the Libertarian Party. But not as good a candidate as I would. LOL. All kidding aside, Bob is a politician, a lawyer, a lobbyist (he has a PAC) and a former federal prosecutor. All the media in D.C. are going wild over his entry into the race. I can see why- he’s one of them! A quintessential D.C. insider. His resume sounds like every politician in D.C. presented to voters by the failing 2-party system.

The LP is an anti-establishment, anti-staus quo, anti-tax, anti-government, anti-”D.C. insiders” party. Is that the best resume to lead “America’s Third Party?” I think my background provides the ideal image for the LP. I’m a small businessman…homeschool father of 4 young kids…2nd generation American…son of a butcher…and CITIZEN POLITICIAN. I’m a throwback to what the Founding Fathers envisioned for a President in 1776. I’m the quintessential ANTI-politician. I think American voters disenchanted with McCain and Obama will flock to my story

Delegates of the Libertarian Party will select their presidential and vice presidential candidates this weekend in Denver, Colorado.

What a choice. Should I support McCain-Lieberman endorsing W.A.R., or medical marijuana denying, South American intervening Barr? So much for the party of principle.

  2. johncjackson Says:

DOnt support either as there are viable candidates who do not have those issues.

Is the author suggesting that WAR crashed their chat so he didn’t have to respond? Or am I reading that wrong?

If I am not, THAT is a kooky conspiracy theory.

Or you could just support the real Libertarian in the race: Ruwart.

Did you see the short reason interview/questioning with Root, Gravel, Barr and Vern McKinley ( a Ron Paul Republican in Virginia running against big government GOP incumbant Frank Wolf)
    Go to: http://www.libertymaven.com

“Vern McKinley almost sounds more libertarian than some of the Libertarian candidates, most notably, Wayne Allyn Root.”
    Indeed.
To me personally Vern made the best impression of ALL of them. He is highly intelligent as well.
Every Libertarian, Republican and Independent should vote for him in the primary. If he beats Wolf, he is already as good as elected. Check out his website.

Liebermann is now also for sensoring youtube! (remember Eric Dondero’s “Libertarians for Lieberman?). First Amendment???
And congress voted affirmative on a bill that would sue Arab nations over the high oil price and force them to produce more…can you believe it? Need a whole new congress with sanity and basic economic understanding, not ideological talk.

Right now, Steve Kubby is my number one choice. Tied in second are Christine Smith and Mary Ruwart. Dr. Phillies and Mr. Root are tied in fourth place.

The three people at the bottom of my list are Mr. Milnes, Mr. Imperato, and Mr. Barr. (No offense to those at the bottom of my list.)

    Don’t forget Mike Gravel.
