McKook has that much support. What a sad commentary…

  2. John Lowell Says:

Very clearly Hitlery’s war stance hurts her compared to Obama, Nadar’s share drops markedly with him in the picture. Barr’s effect on McCain is salutary. I’ll bet it could rise to five percent with the right kind of campaign. Interesting, an anti-system vote of between five and seven percent. Down with the Regime!

  3. Steve Perkins Says:

The convention is just over three weeks away… is Barr planning to announce one way or the other IN Denver? Let’s not pull a Fred Thompson here, fellas…

  4. John Lowell Says:

“Let’s not pull a Fred Thompson here, fellas…”

Barr’s pussy-footing the way he is is off-putting. I’m tired of it. If he keeps it up he will pull a Fred Thompson.

  5. Robert Milnes Says:

I think he may be staying in to continue the Ron Paul leaching of libertarian support as manipulated behind the scenes by the FBI/CIA/GOP/Rove against the LP & the presidential candidates particularly me and to keep the progressive alliance from gaining traction. GOP conservatives sucking libertarian blood. Usurping & thwarting the only possible third party/independent possibility of Electoral College victory. Right in front of everybody yet unseen. Diabolically ingenius.

Libertarians. Be sure to volunteer to service your GOP C-PAC vampire masters.

  8. disinter Says:

FBI/CIA/GOP/Rove against the LP & the presidential candidates particularly me

Yes Milnes, they are all out to get ya! You are most definitely their #1 threat.

You should really join Bush and Cheney in their bunkers.

  9. Thomas M. Sipos Says:

Milnes, here’s a story I was told by several longtime Los Angeles LP members, at different times. (I mean, decades-long members.)

Whether it’s a true story or apocryphal, nobody seems to know. It’s now told as a joke, with some possibly tenuous connection to truth.

I first heard this story well before 9/11. It’s supposed to take place in the LP’s “early days,” post-1960s student rebellion era, but not too far post-1960s. Maybe the 1970s?

    Here’s how it goes:

One day, the LAPD sent a police intelligence officer to one of the LP’s many L.A. supper clubs. He assignment was to infiltrate the LP, and see if we were up to terrorist or revolutionary activities.

When the officer returned to LAPD headquarters, his captain asked him, “Well, how did it go? Did you manage to infiltrate the LP.”

“I guess so,” the officer replied. “They elected me Chair.”

The point of the story is that the LP is not worth infiltrating, and that the authorities have long since figured that out.

  10. Catholic Trotskyist Says:

Congratulations to the polsters, you are truly guided to the right path by God. Hopefully this will send a harsh message to the fascist/stalinist criminal Ralph Nader about him being in a distant fourth place, and most especially, the Bush/Hillary conspiracy. Hopefully, Bill Clinton will go public with his tacit support of Obama now, and the obama revolution will be one step closer to success.

And yes Thomas, the LP is not worth infiltrating, unless it is to bring it towards the Fringe Alliance strategy.

  11. Robert Milnes Says:

Thomas M. Sipos, Have you read The Age of Surveillance or not? Donner is a leftist & I admit the leftists are much more of interest than the libertarians. But the rightist groups are interesting to the FBI also. However they have become much more sophisticated than simple infiltration. They can get every key you hit on your keyboard. They can tell exactly how many people are in a building & where & satellite surveillance. They can cross reference with super computer programs etc. They can run snitch jackets & dirty tricks etc. Come on, man give me a break. You think you have ANY chance against them? They have you beat & know it before you even know the game is being played, fool.

  12. Robert Milnes Says:

They have HUGE carrots & sticks. I would say at least 2 LP presidential candidates could well be connected in some way. I would look at Root & Barr but it could be any of them. Except me. As the only one with adversarial experience with them & extreme knowledge & hatred they know I’m dedicated & can’t be bought off. & to be outspoken against them is a sort of deterrent. You think I’d be living like I am if I could be bought off? But for certain reasons I think after several failed attempts to kill me they decided around 1992 to not try again but keep me under surveillance & just run various non-lethal dirty tricks. I’d say they already know who to arrest & on what charge. Probably somebody with known secondary dirt that would be “discovered” upon incidental search of person, vehicle and/or residence etc. pursuant to arrest. e.g. an income tax problem arrest & when computer confiscated-kiddie porn! & after the recent LNC statement on kiddie porn, that person would be toast in the LP. Zero deniability. Unless a good lawyer could file an Anderson motion or otherwise show that the government used unfair tactics. Even then the courts are biased against minority, political or otherwise, defendants and biased in favor of the prosecution and law enforcement. Or “routine” pullover in vehicle due to broken taillight or license plate loose. Whereupon joint found in pocket upon search of person. Many possibilities & combo operations here. An anonymous phone call is a favorite & old reliable tactic. In the case of the LP convention, I’d say they want surveillance & confidential informant reports; “inside information”. They might want to control who gets the nomination or just make sure somebody they don’t want to get it doesn’t get it.

  13. Robert Milnes Says:

Correction: Kubby is about as knowledgeable & experienced with them as I am & also has financially marginal lifestyle.

  14. Nexus Says:

    3-4% won’t cut it Bob.

  15. Eric Dondero Says:

    Wow! Wow! Wow!

Am I reading this right? Is Libertarian Bob Barr actually ahead (admittedly way within the margin of error) of Safety Nazi Ralph Nader?

    BBBBBBBBBBaaaaahhhhh…. Barr

Best year EVER IN THE HISTORY FOR THE LIBERTARIAN PARTY if the LP nominates Barr.

Ed Clark we luv ya! But you’re all-time LP vote total record of nearly 1 million votes is about to go down in flames.

  16. Eric Dondero Says:

New polls just out show Obama dropping like a rock post-Rev. Wright. Now Hillary is said to have a better shot against McCain than Obama.

No doubt Obama’s anti-Patriotism enflamed by his sidekick Wright, is starting to have an affect. Americans just don’t want to elect someone whose in favor of losing Wars, surrendering to terrorists, refuses to put his hand over his heart during the national anthemn and refuses to wear a flag lapel pin.

Diss your own country, pay the price at the polls.

Shocker: Americans really do love America Mr. Obama. Or, should I say “Mr. Hussein (Obama).”

  17. Clark Says:

..I recently overheard a Republicrat loudmouth at the local watering hole..

...a real asshole..he pestered the lovely waitresses..controlled the teevee flipper…between “Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy” (Where the goddamned Republican fool apparently fancied himself the ken jennings of the joint!) and stinking faux news..

..he was working his potato chip hole about ‘the latest polls,’ ..” blah blah blah blah ..McCain does better against Obama than he does Hillary.. blah blah blah..,” the poor goddamned Republican fool parroted..

...i remained perfectly polite and humble as is my nature, but i screamed to myself, “STFU ABOUT REPUBLICRAT POLLS, YOU FAT, STOOOOOOOOOOOPID REPUBLICRAT!

(apparently republicrats suck up polls like good little pavlov’s dogs) ;o)

  18. Robert Milnes Says:

& since Mary Ruwart has evidently been a victim of what seems like a govt(FBI) dirty trick & lifelong LP &Libertarian, she’s probably ok. & Prof. Phillies, evident left libertarian, years of dedication to LP, contributing his clearly self earned $ to his campaign. & all the other lowest tier candidates. The govt wouldn’t have their connection so low on the ladder.

  19. Robert Milnes Says:

Smith is way to whacky to be a govt. connection. They wouldn’t want her.

  20. Mike Theodore Says:

Dondero, I though Root would make the best year? Or maybe Dick Cheney. Hell, it all sounds the same coming out of your foamy mouth.

  21. Clark Says:

ROBERT MILNES WROTE: “Right in front of everybody yet unseen. Diabolically ingenius.”

LOL!..Ummm Robert, what is YOUR understanding as to the nature, origin, etc. of the very ‘money’ for which most folks grovel?.. (have YOU an honest clue as to how ‘money’ is issued/created, etc..?)

..are you yet another politician who frequently works the french-fry chute as to “the economy,” etc. ad nau$eam, absent an honest understanding of the most ubiquitou$ ‘economic commodity’..virtually half of every ‘US tran$action’

(hint: that would be the ‘federal reserve token,’ Republicrats..what most/all you dopes refer to as ‘dollars’)

(i love to ask republicrats VERY SIMPLE questions about ‘the money,’ monetary realism, etc. in front of a large crowd!..the looks on republicrat faces are priceless!) ;o)

  22. disinter Says:

New polls just out show Obama dropping like a rock post-Rev. Wright. Now Hillary is said to have a better shot against McCain than Obama.

Hitlery has been the chosen one for decades. I can’t believe you morons think any of this is spontaneous.

  23. Libertarian Joseph Says:

Wow. Barr really grabs 3-4%? That’s quite a few million, no?

  24. Catholic Trotskyist Says:

I agree with Robert and Clark about FBI conspiracies. However, the Obama Revolution will overcome that. AMERICA WILL PICK GOD’S CHOSEN MESSENGER BARACK H. OBAMA OR FACE HIS ANGER AND DISPLEASURE.

Please pray for the pope and please pray for Barack Obama.

  25. Libertarian Joseph Says:

    Catholic Trotskyist,

It will be funny when you find out that Obama is status quo. I would enjoy laughing in your face.

  26. Laine Says:

Mr. Nader’s poll numbers are all over the place from 10% in Michigan, a potential 17% of Democrats would vote for him in PA and now a mere 1-3% in this poll. I would imagine in reality his numbers to be some place in between.

If you think like Barack Obama, that WORKING CLASS PEOPLE are just a bunch of “BITTER”!, STUPID, PEASANTS, Cash COWS!, and CANNON FODDER. :-(

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think Barack Obama with little or no experience would be better than Hillary Clinton with 35 years experience.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience can fix an economy on the verge of collapse better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) led the greatest economic expansion, and prosperity in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience fighting for universal health care can get it for you better than Hillary Clinton. Who anticipated this current health care crisis back in 1993, and fought a pitched battle against overwhelming odds to get universal health care for all the American people.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience can manage, and get us out of two wars better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) went to war only when he was convinced that he absolutely had to. Then completed the mission in record time against a nuclear power. AND DID NOT LOSE THE LIFE OF A SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER. NOT ONE!

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience saving the environment is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) left office with the greatest amount of environmental cleanup, and protections in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with little or no education experience is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) made higher education affordable for every American. And created higher job demand and starting salary’s than they had ever been before or since.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that Obama with no experience will be better than Hillary Clinton who spent 8 years at the right hand of President Bill Clinton. Who is already on record as one of the greatest Presidents in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think that you can change the way Washington works with pretty speeches from Obama, rather than with the experience, and political expertise of two master politicians ON YOUR SIDE like Hillary and Bill Clinton..

You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you think all those Republicans voting for Obama in the Democratic primaries, and caucuses are doing so because they think he is a stronger Democratic candidate than Hillary Clinton. :-)

    Best regards

p.s. You Might Be An Idiot! :-)

If you don’t know that the huge amounts of money funding the Obama campaign to try and defeat Hillary Clinton is coming in from the insurance, and medical industry, that has been ripping you off, and killing you and your children. And denying you, and your loved ones the life saving medical care you needed. All just so they can make more huge immoral profits for them-selves off of your suffering…

You see, back in 1993 Hillary Clinton had the audacity, and nerve to try and get quality, affordable universal health care for everyone to prevent the suffering and needless deaths of hundreds of thousands of you each year. :-)

Approx. 100,000 of you die each year from medical accidents from a rush to profit by the insurance, and medical industry. Another 120,000 of you die each year from treatable illness that people in other developed countries don’t die from. And I could go on, and on…

  28. jacksmith Says:

It’s time for everyone to face the truth. Barack Obama has no real chance of winning the national election in November at this time. His crushing defeat in Pennsylvania makes that fact crystal clear. His best, and only real chance of winning in November is on a ticket with Hillary Clinton as her VP.

Hillary Clinton seemed almost somber at her Pennsylvania victory speech. As if part of her was hoping Obama could have proved he had some chance of winning against the republican attack machine, and their unlimited money, and resources.

But it is absolutely essential that the democrats take back the Whitehouse in November. America, and the American people are in a very desperate condition now. And the whole World has been doing all that they can to help keep us propped up.

Hillary Clinton say’s that the heat, and decisions in the Whitehouse are much tougher than the ones on the campaign trail. But I think Mr. Obama faces a test of whether he has what it takes to be a commander and chief by facing the difficult facts, and the truth before him. And by doing what is best for the American people by dropping out of the race, and offering his whole hearted assistance to Hillary Clinton to help her take back the Whitehouse for the American people, and the World.

Mr. Obama is a great speaker. And I am confident he can explain to the American people the need, and wisdom of such a personal sacrifice for them. It should be clear to everyone by now that Hillary Clinton is fighting her heart out for the American people. She has known for a long time that Mr. Obama can not win this November. You have to remember that the Clinton’s have won the Whitehouse twice before. They know what it takes.

If Mr. Obama fails his test of commander and chief we can only hope that Hillary Clinton can continue her heroic fight for the American people. And that she prevails. She will need all the continual support and help we can give her. She may fight like a superhuman. But she is only human.

Sen. Hillary Clinton: “You know, more people have now voted for me than have voted for my opponent. In fact, I now have more votes than anybody has ever had in a primary contest for a nomination. And it’s also clear that we’ve got nine more important contests to go.”
