Thank you to the Mississippi Constitution Party for placing candidates on the ballot and congratulations on an over 5% showing for Paul Riley. At the time of this email, that’s 38,000 people who have now heard of the party. I encourage the state party to continue to run candidates in future elections so that Mississippians will view the CP as a viable party in future elections. One state at a time…..

Early on, with about 25% of precincts reporting, Parker Dykes was looking like he might upset the GOPer.

There were 3 or 4 other CST candidates who got 17-24% in two way races.

And 2-3 CST candidates who got 1-6% in 3 way races.

Im proud of the CPofMS. They did all of this on a shoe-string budget.

A very good showing indeed for the Mississippi CP. To continue to grow the party, party members should run and build track records in local offices, establish bases of support and take their shots at statewide and legislative offices where they have a good shot at winning.

With the Democrats weak and more or less racially based in Mississippi, the CP could very well be the opposition party for the white vote.
