Kilgore for U.S. Senate
Larry Kilgore, the former Dallas County Constitution Party chair who was (more or less) relieved of his duties for publicly supporting the death penalty for homosexuals, is now aiming his sights on the Texas GOP U.S. Senate primary against freshman incumbent John Cornyn, R-San Antonio. Kilgore, who is endorsed by Montana CP legislator Rick Jore and a host of other activists, finished second to Gov. Rick Perry in the GOP gubernatorial primary last year, garnering 50,000 votes (8%). Kilgore originally sought out the District 93 GOP primary - the same seat he garnered 40% in three years ago - but due to him moving a few miles south and out of the district, he was approached to run in the Senate primary.

This is nuts. Cornyn is about the very best US Senator of all 100.
And he’s quite along the lines of the Constitution Party and just about all the issues. He’s particularly good on immigration.
He’s also been called a “libertarian” Republican by major media sources.
Are you all that hateful towards Republicans that you even have to run someone against one of the VERY BEST UNITED STATES SENATORS??!!

By “good,” I’m assuming you mean he’s a protectionist/racist like your old boss? But what is his stance on Swingers’ Rights?

Dondero,
Being the “Best Senator in the U.S.” is a bit like being the skinniest kid at fat camp.
You ARE the skinniest…but you still needed to go to a CAMP cuz you were so fat.

What about Ron Paul? He’s the most conservative U.S. senator, right Trent?

It should be noted that I’m fully on board with helping re-elect Senator Cornyn; Larry Kilgore is a good friend of mine, but he did well in a four-way race last year against a then-popular governor (finishing 2nd with 50,000 votes statewide), so he wants to capitalize on that by running for U.S. Senator.
Postings of news items from Texas should in no way be automatically assumed that I’m in support of a particular person or candidate.
