The Imperato News Network

I’ve been getting absolutely bombarded with these insane press releases from the Imperato campaign. Not less than 6 or 7 of them within the last week!

I wouldn’t mind so much, but some of it is just so out of this work that I can’t imagine why he’s bothering to write and distribute them at all.

Chrysler Bidder Imperato To Support Workers at Employee Buyout Demonstration

Today Chrysler Bidder Daniel Imperato endorsed the workers movement at the Chrysler Corporation and the Chrysler Employee Owned Buyout Committee.

Imperato who had originally proposed an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) for the workers of Chrysler has now placed his backing behind the employee committee, headed by Michele Mauder.

To his support, Imperato will be attending a worker’s rally this Monday at Chrysler Headquarters in Auburn Hills.

“I’m going to Detroit to march alongside of the workers of this country to show my support for the United Auto Workers, their families, and their future. Chrysler is an American trademark, and we need to make sure that it is here for our children and their children, not just for the next 5 years.”

Imperato Calls it Again: Russian Relations turn Pale

Russian President, Vladimir Putin, launched a stinging attack yesterday on US “imperialism” moments after holding a meeting in Moscow with Greek President, Karolos Papoulias, during which the two men confirmed stronger ties between Greece and Russia.

A day after Moscow tested a new strategic ballistic missile, the Russian leader also accused the USA of sparking a new arms race between the two countries.

“We are not the initiators of this new round of the arms race,” Putin said, highlighting Washington’s unilateral withdrawal in 2002 from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty, which limited the deployment of missile defenses.

“(The Americans) are stuffing eastern Europe with new weapons. A new base in Bulgaria, another in Romania , a site in Poland, radar in the Czech Republic. What are we supposed to do? We cannot just observe all this.”

Back on January 5, 2006, 2008 Presidential Candidate, Daniel Imeprato, warned the administration about relations with Russia. At the time, Bush considered Putin as a friend and a champion of democracy.

“While I have great respect for George W. Bush as an individual, I question his ability and understanding of the Russian government,” stated Imperato.

Imperato Calls it Again: US military seeks ceasefires in Iraq

According to published reports by the Financial Times, US military officers in Iraq are attempting to negotiate ceasefires with some insurgent groups that have been responsible for the violence in the country.

Lt General Raymond Odierno, commander of ground forces in Iraq, said last week that the US was responding to insurgent groups that have signaled an interest in reconciliation.

“We’re talking about ceasefires and maybe signing some things that say they won’t conduct operations against the government of Iraq or against coalition forces,” he said.

In his release back in November 2005, (” 2008 Presidential Contender Speaks out about Murtha, Cheney, Clinton, and Colin Powell), Imperato first laid out his cease fire strategy for Iraq. Subsquently, he stated later on that month in his release (“Leading Independent Presidential Contender Address Bush’s Speech on Iraq”)

“I stand for a cease fire in Iraq,” said Imperato. “I am for peace, not war…I strongly suggest our administration to realize that the war on terrorism is a collective war, deeply rooted in the Middle Eastern region, and the greatest way to stop the terrorists is to collectively combine the entire region, including Syria and Iran, to all agree to a cease fire. Then, they should setup a collective Special Forces program to stomp out any and all terrorists groups and any and all supporters of terrorism.”

Imperato has called for a cease fire some over 20 times during the past 18 months.

    a non-libertarian crackpot.

  2. Nigel Watt Says:

This dude is a self-impressed wackjob.

  3. Rob Says:

I am glad (in a reverse sorta way) that I am not the only person being spammed by Improbable - no opt-out attempts I have made have worked.

  4. Brian Grant Says:

I’m not sure who the real wackjob is Imperato or the people giving him publicity. The chairman of the Ulster County Independence Party of New York State sent in a REAL story of a town’s board members changing enrollment to the Independence Party and it doesn’t even get posted. I would think real stories should be more impotant than fantasy.

  5. globalist_elitist Says:

Yeah; I think it’s time to pull the plug on the Imperato coverage. He’s not entertainingly crazy, just lame.
