A Few Quick Items…

=> The Green Party of Connecticut has nominated their first slate of statewide candidates ever.

=> Ballot Access News has an update on the Labor Party’s drive to qualify for a spot on the ballot in South Carolina. It seems that the party is facing a decision of when they actually want to run candidates. Turning in their signatures after May 7th would mean ballot access in 2008 instead of this year, which might not be such a bad thing since their main 2006 candidate has decided not to run after all. BAN has all the details.

=> Along with plugging his movie, Aaron Russo is encouraging people to run for office as candidates of the Independent American Party of Nevada, the state’s Constitution Party affiliate.

=> Sean Scallon at EtherZone talks about running third party (or any) campaigns on more than just ideology in this article.
