The Invisible Candidate…

Apparently the ‘Hardest Part’ of running for office is winning. ;) Ok, enough awful puns.

A very disappointing result for 98 Degrees singer and independent mayoral candidate Justin Jeffre…

From NEWS 5:

City Council member David Pepper and State Sen. Mark Mallory finished a close 1-2 in Tuesday’s primary and will square-off for mayor of Cincinnati in November.

The two Democrats ran neck-and-neck with Pepper winning by a margin of 215 votes—.5 percent. Pepper had 13,321 votes (31.1 percent) to Mallory’s 13,106 (30.6 percent).

They far outdistanced the other five candidates. Former Council member Charlie Winburn, the only Republican, came closest (21 percent).

Vice Mayor Alicia Reece, a Democrat, was a distant fourth (15 percent). Three independents, led by former pop singer Justin Jeffre of 98 Degrees, were also-rans. Jeffre, Sylvan Grisco and Sandra Queen Noble combined for less than 3 percent.
