Correction: Libertarians Not Arrested

Just a little update on a story we linked to a while ago. It was an article that appeared in The Boca Raton News and claimed Libertarians Karl Dickey and Neil Evangelista had been arrested while protesting a gun buy-back program.

In an article dated August 5th:

An article on this page on July 14, 2005, incorrectly stated that Karl Dickey and Neil Evangelista, Palm Beach County Libertarian Party chairman and treasurer, respectively, were arrested during the city of West Palm Beach’s gun buy-back program, “Operation Cease Fire.” Dickey and Evangelista, a former Boca Raton Public Information Officer (PIO), protested the gun buy-back, but neither man was arrested or charged with any crime. The Boca News retracts the incorrect statement in its entirety. The Boca News regrets and again apologizes to Dickey and Evangelista for the error, for which it previously published a correction on July 15.
